On arrival in Dushanbe transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Check in.
Morning short rest at leisure at hotel.
Later city tour in Dushanbe to visit famous Museum of National Antiquities, which opened in 2001. Featuring artefacts from Tajikistan's Islamic and pre-Islamic history (Greek/Bactrian, Zoroastrian, Buddhist and Hindu), the museum shows that Tajikistan was an important crossroad in Central Asia. The centrepiece is the 14m reclining Buddha in Nirvana, a 1,400 year-old statue created by the same Kushan civilisation that made the Bamiyan Buddhas in Afghanistan.
Later visit National Museum recently opened in the center of Dushanbe where you can see history of Tajikistan from the stone age till present days. Unique frescoes and burned wooden statues from Penjikent excavation site are exhibited there. There is a special section devoted to

Morning excursion to Hissor town (23 km from Dushanbe) to see ancient fortress of Hissor - one of the most precious historical sites of Tajikistan . Comfortably located near Dushanbe Hissor Fortress combines the traditional elements of power, trade and culture of the ancient Tajik nation. Visit Medrassah Kuhna (16th c) and Museum of Tajik Way of life there, 19c Medrassah nearby and mausoleum of Sufi saint Mahdumi Azam.

Our guide and driver will meet you at the lobby of your hotel in Dushanbe. Transfer to Iskanderkul Lake, known as a lake of Alexander the Great which was established in 1969. The area of the lake is 30000 ha. According to the legend, the Iskanderkul Lake was named after Alexander the Great, known as Iskander in the East. People say that Alexander the Great’s path to Central Asia from India laid through this lake. Lunch at traditional homestay "Dilovar". Exploration the surroundings of the lake: five springs, Zmeinoe lake (Snake lake), walking to 38m high waterfall which is called “Fan Niagara“.

Drive to Penjikent via Istaravshan. Arrival and accommodate at hotel. Excursion:
Museum of Rudaki – As Penjikent is a birthplace of Abu Abdallah Rudaki, considered by many to be the father of Persian Poetry. Ancient Penjikent - ruins of old Sogdian town founded in 5th century and abandoned in the 8th century by Arabs. Foundations of houses, a citadel with a couple of Zoroastrian fire temples and city bazaar are visible in the excavated ruins. Overnight at Hotel «Sugd».
Breakfast. Drive to Seven Lakes. Sarazm one of the ancient settlement in Central Asia with 5500 years civilization. In 2010 the Sarazm was added to the list of the Human heritage by UNESCO. Picnic at lake. Drive back to Penjikent. Overnight at Hotel «Sugd».

Mug Tepa-situeted in Ura-Tube is one of the ancient settlements in Tajikistan. It is said the city was found by Kir in the north-east boundary of the empire.
Khazrati Shoh architectural complex- consists of Khazrati Shoh mausoleum-the grave of brother of Kusam ibn Abbas, Khudayar Valami mausoleum and mosque Namozgoh. There were city cemetery and Medresse too. All these buildings belong to 19th c. Bazaar- an oriental market where you can find everything.
Sightseeing of Khodjent, Oriental Bazaar – the biggest bazaars of Central Asia is Payshanba bazaar, one of the interesting places in Khodjent attracting people with various sounds and tastes. Museum of archeology and fortification – in the middle of northern part of the city there is fortress of 7-8th c. The territory of the fortress-300x200m. The city was surrounded with wall. It was destroyed several times during different conquers and last reconstruction was in 18th c. The museum was found inside the fortress. Dinner at local restaurant.

Breakfast, drive to Tajik/Kirgiz border “Kizilbel” (110 km). Metting at Kyrgyz –Tjik border “Kizilbel”. Border formalities. Transfer to Botkent for lunch. After lunch transfer to Osh 200km about 4 hours. Dinner in the restaurant. Overnight in the hotel Sun Rise.
Breakfast. Observe traditional celebrating of Independence day in Osh. Visiting the Holly Suleiman Mount, which is in the center of the city. By the legent King Salomon (for Muslims- King Suleiman) crossed the are of the Ferganna valley and had the rest on the top of Suleiman Mount. After his visit local people began to build the house around and established the city Osh. In the evening one hour flight to Bishkek. Lunch and Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in the hotel
After breakfast city tour of Bishkek with visiting Osh market, central squear, Oak park, Victory squear. Lunch. Transfer to Kochkor village. Visit the carpet workshop where you can also participate in process of making the small wool carpet. Dinner. Overnight in the Nomad Lodge hotel.
Breakfast. Drive to Son-Kul, it is 120 km, the road will take about 3-4 hours one way. This is a popular place among the local people, who come here every summer with their families and cattle. You can do one day hiking to mountains, meet local shepherds, and watch the shepherd’s way of life: taste bread and kumyz (the national Kyrgyz drink from mares’ milk).Upon arrival to the lake lunch in the yurt. Walking in the area. Optionally horse riding. Return to Kochkor in the late afternoon. Dinner. Overnight in the hotel Nomad Lodge.
After breakfast transfer to the southern shore of Issyk-Kul lake, that is the second largest mountainous lake in the world on the altitude of 1607 meters above the sea level. On the way a visit to Kyzyl-Tuu village where the local masters make the woden parts of the yurts. Eagle hunting show in Bokonbaevo village Upon arruval swim in the lake. Overnight in the yurts in Tamga yurt camp
After breakfast. Free time at the lake. Transfer to Bishkek. Visit Skazka valley. Lunch on the way. On the way visit Burana tower remainings of ancient town (11C). Dinner in the local restaurant. Overnight in the hotel Bridges or similar
Transfer to airport early in the morning. Flight home.
