On the basis of bilateral and multilateral agreements signed by the Republic of Tajikistan with foreign states in respect of the following countries have a procedure for visa-free entry and exit of certain types of passports:

Facilitation of issuance of visas to Tajikistan
The simplified procedure of visa of all categories can be issued only to citizens of 112 countries listed in the Resolution of the Government of Tajikistan on January 25, 2017 №31. To obtain a visa can be in electronic form on the website www.evisa.tj (the cost is 52 US dollars).
In addition, citizens of certain countries where there is no embassy or consulate of the Republic of Tajikistan, at the embassy or consulate, as well as at the airport may obtain a tourist visa on arrival. To obtain a visa on arrival and embassies or consulates need to fill out a questionnaire on www.visa.gov.tj site and pay $ 5 for the review of the questionnaire. The application is considered within 1-5 days, after which the confirmation is sent to the email address of the applicant. The cost of the visa fee at the embassy or consulate and the airport is 35 US dollars.
In the presence of the electronic visa one can reach in Tajikistan via checkpoint or through any airport or train station. Electronic visa also entitles a foreign national to be in Tajikistan without registration for 30 days. In other cases, can be arrived in the country without registration up to 10 days, excluding weekends and holidays, on the expiration of this period, you have to register at the Visa and Registration Department. Registration fee (US $ 30-35 US). To visit the Lake Sarez you need a permission, which can be obtained in the Department for Emergencies Prevention, also you need a permission to visit the Tajik National Park, and it can be obtained from the staff of the National Park. To visit the Pamir the tourists are required a permit besides the e-visa, which is issued with a visa at the embassies of Tajikistan abroad or it can be obtained in the Local Visa and Registration Department in Dushanbe, as well as from www.evisa.tj.

- Customs declaration confirming the fact of importation of currency values by an individual to Tajikistan.
- A document confirming the fulfillment of the exchange and / or conversion transactions with foreign currency issued to individuals by authorized banks or their structural units when selling them to foreign currency in cash.
- A document confirming the commission of foreign currency conversion transactions issued to individuals by authorized banks or their structural divisions in the issuance of transferred funds without opening a bank account.
- Spending cash order issued to the customer by authorized banks or their structural units by removing or issuance of cash foreign currency accounts in national currency or foreign currency account.
- Spending cash order, issued by authorized banks or their structural divisions in the issuance of foreign currency cash from the current account of the legal person for travel expenses of its employees, and in other cases provided by the legislation.
- Spending cash order, issued by the Central Fund of the National Bank of Tajikistan on the travel expenses of its employees and employees of public institutions and agencies served by the Central Treasury of the Ministry of Finance.
Features of filling the customs declaration:
- When filling out the customs declaration one must specify the exact amount for each currency and to count all valuables, including expensive items such as jewelry, electronics and photographic equipment.

What else cannot be imported / exported from / to Tajikistan:

- The import of arms, ammunition, gold and precious metals, printed materials and videos that are contrary to the norms of Islam, drugs and potent drugs, without a prescription are prohibited.
